Important Details

Online statements

  • With Barclaycard Breathe you will receive your monthly statements online. Online statements will set out, among other things, your current balance, your transactions over the previous month, your minimum payment due and the payment due date.
  • After you receive your Barclaycard Breathe card you must register for online account services in order to access your monthly statements.
  • When you apply for a Barclaycard Breathe card you will be asked for your mobile phone number. This will be used to give you text message reminders each month when your statement becomes available online.
  • You will also be asked for your email address when you apply. We may also use your email address to notify you that your statement is ready. We will also on occasions send you some communications through the post where we cannot use email or text message.
  • Please remember that you are responsible for making at least your minimum payment on time each month. This is the case whether or not you receive a monthly reminder.
  • Paper statements are available on request by phoning customer services. There will be a charge of £3 per statement.
  • Please remember to tell us immediately if your mobile phone number or email address changes, or you move home, so that we can make sure you receive important communications. You can tell us by telephoning us on 0870 154 0154 or writing to us at Barclaycard, Northampton NN4 7SG.

Donations

  • We will donate 50% of the profits made from Barclaycard Breathe to Pure, the Clean Planet Trust (Registered Charity No. 1112249). All donations shall be used by Pure
    to fund projects from government approved programmes. No more than 10% of donations shall be used to cover Pure’s administrative costs.
  • We shall make a minimum annual donation of £1million in the first year, with a maximum annual donation each year of £10 million.
  • Profits from Barclaycard Breathe mean the cumulative net profits since the launch date of 2 July 2007. Net profits shall be calculated based on the income from the product after the deduction of costs, expenses and tax.
  • The figures used to calculate donations will be audited on an annual basis by an independent third party auditor using an agreed process and criteria.
  • Donations will be paid on a quarterly basis. They are made inclusive of any tax payable by Pure in respect of any donation and any tax payable shall be deducted from donations made.
  • We reserve the right to change the amount of profit we donate, or to stop donations, from the end of the first year following launch on giving Pure at least 30 days’ notice.

Barclaycard reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time. You will be required to use a PIN with this credit card in order to pay for goods and services over the counter in shops and other outlets.
