Save up to 10% Hertz best available rates on Hertz Green Collection

Hertz is the world's largest car rental company, offering competitive rates on a wide variety of cars for a single day to a weekend away or longer.

In 2006, Hertz developed the Green Collection - a collection of vehicles that are identified as the greenest vehicles on their fleet. This range enables Hertz to offer greener rental options to customers.

The Offer

Hertz is offering Barclaycard Breathe Cardholders savings of up to 10% off best available rates on Hertz Green Collection car rental. In addition, for a limited period, Hertz will make a further donation of 2% to the Climate Change Charity ‘Pure’.

Terms and Conditions

  1. European discounts apply to current Hertz non-affiliated standard retail rates net of tax (these rates generally include collision damage waiver, theft protection and unlimited mileage). The rate of discount varies depending on make and model of car and length of hire. Discounts for domestic travel are generally less than those applying to rentals abroad. Discounts outside Europe apply to Hertz non-prepaid affordable programme rates.
  2. Car rental subject to Hire Company's standard terms and conditions and subject to availability on walk up basis.
  3. Drivers under 23 years are excluded from this offer. A surcharge is to be paid for drivers between 23 and 25 years old.
  4. Offer valid for bookings made until 31st December 2007. Charitable donations will be made on all rentals completed by 30th November 2007.
  5. The vehicle must only be driven by the renter or another individual who has been authorised by Hertz and added to the Rental Record. All other drivers will need to pay the additional driver surcharge at the prevailing rate.
  6. Offer only valid if purchased using Barclaycard Breathe card.

For BT residential customers, calls will cost no more than 8p per minute, plus 3p call set-up fee (current at May 2007). The price on non-BT phone lines may be different
